Sustainability

Fabric ♻️  High quality, durable and comfortable; made from 100% recycled polyester. Our fabric is made from recycled PET bottles that are GRS certified (Global Recycled Standard); a third party certification ensuring they are post-consumer, with over 31 bottles recycled per jacket

Factories 🧵 We craft our fabric in Taiwan and our garments in Xiamen, China by a BSCI certified factory; ensuring safe and healthy working conditions and fair wages

Packaging 📦 Plastic free of course. We send our orders either in a recyclable cardboard box or in a home-compostable  bag. With your order wrapped in tissue paper, in a home-compostable garment bag (made from corn starch)

Trees 🌳 One tree planted for every pant made to help offset our impact

Just like regular pants

Not like daggy hiking pants. We couldn't find high waisted, comfortable, sustainable, technical pants for the outdoors that made us feel good. So we decided to create our own.

We added all the things you need, like a proper high waisted fit, heaps of pockets, recycled fabrics. And none of the things you don't, like a mid rise, a gaping back when you squat down, and that rustling noise when you walk.

Sustainably made

Our pants are made entirely from recycled fabric, made from post consumer recycled bottles that are Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certified, ensuring your old water bottles get a second life.

Plus, we offset their carbon, and on top of that plant a tree for every pair of pants made. Because we know sustainability is a need to have, rather than a nice to have.

Comfy

I really like them, they've already come on some long treks up a few mountains and I'm looking forward to taking them for a proper hike soon.

They're an excellent fit and the pockets are great for stashing snacks, phone and wallet as well as the paper map.

Great pants but not entirely thought through for pack carrying

I love the fabric, feel and style of these pants. I have just returned from walking the Overland track in Tasmania and I wore these pants every day. Overall they were great for the conditions, light weight and easy to move in. I especially love the high waisted fit so when wearing my pack they didn't get pushed down like other pants I have. A couple of things that weren't great is the front pocket zippers sit right on your hip bones so with a pack on this was really painful. I found I had to walk with the zippers undone so they didn't rub which then makes me think the zippers could just be removed from the design. Also, the D-ring on the back I don't think is necessary and is another rigid item on the waist area that is not ideal when carrying a large pack. Like the zippers I will cut this off myself.

Most flattering comfortable hiking pants I've ever owned!

Amble have absolutely nailed the fit of these pants, this is the first time I have ever purchased a pair of outdoor pants which are actually high waisted and don't gape at the back. The fabric is light and comfortable and I can't wait to take them on many adventures!!!
