Amble's Adventure Grant
Introducing (drumroll please)... our inaugural Adventure Grant! We believe the best things happen outdoors - the moments you remember forever, where you feel most alive, the places you challenge yourself, and where you discover what you’re capable of.
Historically the outdoors hasn’t felt so welcoming for many people, so we’re hoping to prove that everybody belongs outdoors, no matter whether you love adventures big or small.
To support our mission, we’ve created an Adventure Grant to give one lucky person the opportunity to go on that adventure you’ve always wanted to do. We're super excited and have been dying to let you in on the news, so let's get into the deets.
What should my adventure look like?
Whether your dream adventure is doing an iconic hike such as the Three Capes in Tassie, doing a bike packing trip, perhaps doing a kayaking trip down NSW’s south coast, or setting up a bird watching group, we’d love to hear about it.
Or maybe you’d love to explore the Dark Sky sites and learn more about Indigenous astrology, get into trail running, outdoor climbing, or maybe mapping out the best wheelchair accessible adventures.
We understand adventure looks different for everyone so don’t stress if you’re not into any of the above activities, the possibilities are endless and we encourage you to apply no matter what you’d love to do.
What's included in the Grant?
The total prize is worth $3,000, designed to be shared by the winner and their friend, who will join the adventure. The prize includes:
- $1,000 of product from Amble designed to kit out the winner head to toe, along with their chosen friend
- $500 cash to help fund your adventure whether you need it for flights, campsite fees, or getting some extra gear
- $1,500 of product from supporting brands Will & Bear, Project Pargo, Rumpl, Blue Dinosaur, Remote Projects and Offgrid Provisions
When can I apply?
Entries are open now! It’s time to start dreaming up an epic adventure or put pen to paper for that idea you’ve had for years. Read all the details and submit your application by 23rd October over here. Like the nitty gritty details? No stress (we do too), check out the FAQ to find all the answers you need.
We believe the outdoors and adventure is for everyone, so we strongly encourage applications from people identifying as women, non-binary, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples and those with a disability.
