I love the fabric, feel and style of these pants. I have just returned from walking the Overland track in Tasmania and I wore these pants every day. Overall they were great for the conditions, light weight and easy to move in. I especially love the high waisted fit so when wearing my pack they didn't get pushed down like other pants I have. A couple of things that weren't great is the front pocket zippers sit right on your hip bones so with a pack on this was really painful. I found I had to walk with the zippers undone so they didn't rub which then makes me think the zippers could just be removed from the design. Also, the D-ring on the back I don't think is necessary and is another rigid item on the waist area that is not ideal when carrying a large pack. Like the zippers I will cut this off myself.

Amble have absolutely nailed the fit of these pants, this is the first time I have ever purchased a pair of outdoor pants which are actually high waisted and don't gape at the back. The fabric is light and comfortable and I can't wait to take them on many adventures!!!

Very comfortable, light weight

Absolutely thrilled with this purchase. I always have a lot of trouble finding pants due to my shape, but these fit! Perfectly! I'm so glad I took the risk of buying pants online. For reference for others, my waist is 77cm and my hips are 108cm, and these fit perfectly in a size M (I'm a size 12). I really like the adjustable waist tabs and the pockets. I've been wearing them to work - they're more than suitable for my 'business casual' office and they're super comfortable to wear all day. I really like the green colour as well. It's nice to wear something other than black. Thanks for making such a great and sustainably produced product. I hopefully await the release of other colours!
